Lanternarius Press is
a startup publishing company working to explain Catholic Christian morals and
values to a new generation. We are doing this through a series of books, both
written and audio. We are also will be working on plays which will be available on cd and video.
Our first book in a new series is "A Catholic Mother Speaks to Her Children". Originally written over 100 years ago, this book was written for preteen children. It includes advice on vanity, curiosity and obedience as well as a discussion of the Catholic Church's traditions and liturgy. Arranged in 58 short chapters, the book is designed to be read one chapter a week, with the book following the liturgical year starting with January 1. It was written by Marie, Countess De Flavigny. You can read more about her at our Authors page.
This book is available now. There are four more books in the series which will be coming out in the near future.
A second imprint has been developed starting this March, Serra Books, our fiction and historical series. The first book of the new imprint is "The Ragman Murders", a novel based on a true murder which took place in Hartford, Ct., in 1912. The author, Elizabeth A Martina is a new author but big into research.
Both of these books are available at Amazon.com, either in paperback or Kindle.
